THE PATCH JOURNAL
How to prepare your artwork for a patch
A clearer file helps the team review your patch at the right size.
Start with the original
Upload your original vector file when available, or a clear, high-resolution PNG, JPG or PDF. Avoid screenshots of a screenshot: small details become harder to read.
Include the finished dimensions
Tell us your intended width, height and unit. Lettering that looks clear on a large screen may be too small when reduced to a patch.
Explain what matters
List key colors, essential wording and any details that can be simplified. Include an image of the intended placement if it helps explain the project.
Review before production
Check spelling, proportions, color references and attachment details when discussing the artwork. Ask the team to confirm any uncertainty before agreeing to production.
MADE FOR YOUR NEXT BIG THING
Your idea deserves a great patch.
Start with a sketch, a logo or a little inspiration. Let’s work out the details together.
